Chicago-based soprano specializing in Early Music, Oratorio and Baroque Opera

So enjoyed my time with Musica Angelica in LA in early December.  The scheduled soprano fell ill and I flew out at the last minute for a satisfying weekend with Martin Haselbock and this amazing band.  Bach’s Christmas Oratorio with period instruments and my new and old friends, Ian Howell, Thomas Cooley and Jordan Shanahan.

Getting ready for the season ahead for performing artists can be a complicated game of darts with one’s own calendar as the target…  as I continue fill up my calendar with dates, here are a couple of things I am looking forward to:  CD releases!  2 cds on which I am featured will be coming out this year.  One with the Madison Bach Musicians and one with the Grant Park Chorus – both very beautiful.  Also looking forward to presenting a full recital with Shannon McGinnis at the Art Institute’s Fullerton Hall in September.  Music from Spain and South America with piano and guest string players – everything from classical Spanish flourishes to Cuban salon music.  Love to see you there!
